Stanley Apps
After working in higher education for over a decade, Stanley Apps went to law school at NYU, where he specialized in Constitutional and Education Law. In his current practice, Mr. Apps represents educators experiencing discrimination and/or retaliation in their institutions, as well as retired educators who are experiencing challenges with Calpers.
Mr. Apps also specializes in disability law, and represents neurodiverse students seeking to acquire or modify their 504 Plan or Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Tova Cooper
Dr. Cooper is an Educational Consultant working with Stanley Apps. If you are an employee or student encountering discrimination or unfair employment or educational practices, Apps and Cooper can advise or represent you.
Dr. Cooper is the mother of two school aged children with special needs. She has a Ph.D in English and over two decades of experience in higher education. Dr. Cooper has written a book on U.S. Educational History; created school curricula; and spent years training future public school teachers.
Dr. Cooper has the knowledge, passion, empathy, and experience to guide you and your child through a variety of educational challenges, including neurodiverse education, gifted education, and homeschooling.
Dr. Cooper is also available for consultation and advocacy regarding your child's 504 Plan or IEP. As a lawyer and advocate team, Apps and Cooper have experienced much success in this area.
